More than ten years of baking for family, friends and community sit behind Buttered Bakehouse. It began after having my first daughter, with friends and family encouraging me to share what I loved with more people.

I’m a girl who grew up in Tacoma, and I love this city. It’s home—the familiar places, the people, and the little things that make this corner of the Northwest our own.
Getting to do what I love for the people I love means so much to me. Buttered Bakehouse is my way of sharing a little of that love, one bake, one gathering, and one sweet moment at a time.

A NOTE FROM THE BAKER
It started
close to home.
I didn’t start with a big bakehouse plan. I started with baking, sharing it with the people around me, and hearing them say I should keep going.
For over a decade, one celebration has led to another. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies and decorated treats became a way to make those gatherings feel a little more personal.
That experience shapes Buttered Bakehouse today: thoughtful work, a warm welcome and a personal approach. Someone you can talk flavors and budgets with, bring a wild theme to, or ask for a little inspiration when you just know you want something good. You don’t need a huge party or a fancy plan to start the conversation. Scones, cookies, cakes and celebration treats—all with that same care.
